Rick B. brought along a nice display of the points he has been knapping. He gave me a killer spear point made from the coastal plains chert, he also had a bunch for sale and I got some nice ones.

Wednesday the group went to two locations, the Ray Mica mine and the Sinkhole mine. Everyone had good luck at both.

At the Sinkhole we found a lot of nice apatite and garnet. The mine has been turned over pretty good and there was a lot of fresh material to go through.
