2007 Annual Mountain Area Gem and Mineral Association M.A.G.M.A. Club Picnic October 14th, 2007 Our club picnic was a great success as usual. Sandy and I arrived at 10:00 to find our club member Steve Penley waiting for us. Steve had brought a jug of home brew for us to try, (and no, it was not moonshine) Our member who traveled the farthest to join us was Newton Hamlin from New Guinea. Newton brought the above pictured rocks for show and tell, petrified wood and some very nice agate. Steve's brother Carl and his Wife. New member Roxy Harold and Loretta were there, Harold brought a very nice calcite in matrix specimen he had collected in Kentucky to show everyone. Page 2
