The Graves Open House this fall was the largest in recent history, and Junior says it may have been the largest ever! Over 2,000 people visited the site over the course of the three day event. Around 150 of those people were MAGMA members making this one of the most attended club events in the past few years.

I started my weekend on Wednesday afternoon. I headed to Elijah Clark park to set up my camp for the weekend. The club was invited in on Thursday to collect and I was setting up my booth to sell minerals.

I arrived at the park and saw one of the locals hanging out.

Nice piece of blue iridescent hematite with small rutile crystals.

This kid found this nice rutile crystal in matrix.

Junior had cleared a huge lot at the top of the drive in the back field. It was a good thing especially on Saturday, if not the cars would have been lined out Hwy. 378.
