Standard Mineral Photos by Rick Jacquot The MAGMA field trip to Glendon was a huge success! We had a fantastic turnout despite the threat of rainy weather. The weather was actually great, nice and cloudy and cool for digging. Of the 120 spaces we had registered, 105 of the members arrived for the dig, a great turnout. Leonard ready to rock! By 8:30 the parking lot was getting full. The mine is now marked off with yellow tape to designate the collecting area. Assistant field trip leader Lee. Assistant field trip leader Austin. Lon and Bev came up from Florida for the dig. They brought along some nice MAGMA buttons they made for the club. I will have a bunch of these at Graves Mountain for sale to the club members. Our member John Endres donated a bunch of brand new back braces to our club members. Becky found one to fit. |
