Loose crystals

Large double tipped crystal.

This was my first trip to dig quartz in Arkansas. I'm sure it was a first for many of our members also. I'm glad I got to do it with my friends from M.A.G.M.A.

Sadly, we later learned that two of our members, Steve Barr and Mark Randle, had "set up" this trip for us. Our members were used to pay the fuel bills for the small private machine dig that had taken place at the mine a week or so before. I am still glad we made the trip, just disappointed at the total disrespect that was shown to the club by Steve and Mark.
